Data protection and encryption
Data at rest
All stored data is encrypted to the highest standard - the same standard used by Australian financial institutions.
Data in motion
Data sent between you and Swift Authentication is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 encryption protocol. This protocol ensures secure delivery of data transferred over the internet. It protects that information that is being transferred, and also authenticates the website’s identity. Sites with a TLS/SSL certificate such as www.swiftattestation.com.au are identified by the URL starting with https:// and the padlock icon in the browser’s address bar.
Data stored in the cloud
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to provide reliable cloud based systems which are built with the highest standards for privacy and data security. Read more about AWS Cloud Security.
Payment Information
Payments are processed directly by our PCI-DSS Level 1 payment provider, Stripe, over encrypted connection - the same level of encryption used by Australian banks. Your payment details are not stored on our database. To find out more about Stripe’s security, click here.
